T in The Park 2012
So in part 1, we gave some tips on how to survive a festival and we hope you found them useful. Here's a a tick list of things to take to a festival.

What should you take?

  • Large camping rucksack- To fit the following..
  • Tent- Obviously
  • Sleeping bag- An all weathers one
  • Roll mat- Don't sleep on the hard floor
  • Pillow- Stay comfy in bed
  • Tent light/Torch- It gets dark at night..
  • Wellington Boots- No ruined shoes
  • Long socks- Stop infamous 'Wellie sore'
  • Shorts- Better than wearing jeans, even if it is cold
  • Vests/Tees- If the sun comes out, you have some summer clothes
  • Jumpers- Stay warm, nothing worse than being cold and wet
  • Waterproofs- It is likely to rain at least once
  • Hat- A straw trilby is a must at a festival
  • Sunglasses- More fashion than for protection
  • Sun cream- It might be hot, it might be cold.. just in case
  • Face paint (If you're feeling creative)- Luminous paints are common
  • Cheap phone- Don't want to lose an expensive phone
  • ID (Must have for under 18s)- If you wish to get served
  • Food- Don't just drink, make sure you get some food inside you!
  • Drink (Alcoholic and non-alcoholic)- May make the weekend much more fun.
  • Water carrier- For a drink or to clean yourself
  • Tooth Brush- You will need to brush your teeth
  • Baby wipes- Easiest way of getting clean
  • Toilet Roll- You will have to go at some point
  • Condoms- Incase you get lucky
  • Alca seltzer/Paracetamol- For the headaches the morning after each night
  • Money- Take some money for food/drink and anything else
  • TICKETS- Without this, you are screwed.
+ Any extras if you have any room left.

Let me know if I have forgotten anything, or if you take anything different and I will update the list.

I hope this helps everyone,

Jack.
