A Preview Of The Festival Season (Part 1)

Festival season is upon us once again, and in typical British fashion, the sunny weather has not yet arrived. There are many superb festivals running this year, from the well-known, to the not so well-known. 

Lots of you will have bought tickets already for your chosen festival, but some of you might still be undecided on which festival to visit. Here's a little help..

Glastonbury Festival Of Performing Arts

EVERYBODY has heard of Glastonbury, it is world renowned, and yet again has a huge line up with some of the best names in the business. Glastonbury is not only about music however, it also has other 'performing arts' attractions such as a circus.

Line Up

From the huge main stages, to the little tents and acoustic stages, Glasto has something to offer everyone. Here is a few names on the line up..

Reading & Leeds Festival

Reading & Leeds festivals operate with the same line up, but on seperate days, and are renowned for their rock acts. This year's line up is not as good as previous years, however there are still some seriously good acts throughout the bank holiday weekend.

V Festival

V festival is a pop orientated festival, and it takes quite a lot of stick from magazines such as NME, but having been to the festival, I know that it's great. It is not all pop acts, and has a variety of genres, even accomodating the indiest of festival-goer.

Similar to Reading & Leeds, V festival has Chelmsford and Stafford.. with the acts on alternate days.
