LOOM + Kilto Take + Blisseyes @ The Craufurd Arms

With much hype surrounding LOOM, Saturday night was much anticipated for fans in Milton Keynes.. but they weren't the only top class band on show, support came from Kilto Take and Blisseyes.

Coming off the back of some minor warm up gigs, Blisseyes looked well prepared and relaxed as they took to the stage for their biggest show to date. Crosby (Lead guitar/Backing vocals) shone once again, this time on his birthday, as Cook (Vocals/Rhythm guitar) showed not only his musical talent, but his humour with crowd interaction, stating "If there are any girls in the audience, and you happen to be single.. come see us afterwards".

Blisseyes added new track "Waterfalls" to their set list, and their decision to open with this new track paid off, as it went down a storm. LOOM themselves were impressed with Blisseyes, as was Crosby's older brother Jonathon (Kilto Take) on a night where the brothers shared the stage for the first time.

Kilto Take

Kilto Take were main support at The Craufurd Arms, who have had a big start to 2013. With a debut album out this year, and single "Atonement" selling well on iTunes, the future looks promising for the three piece band.

J.Crosby (Guitar/Vocals) wowed the Milton Keynes crowd with his more than impressive vocals. There was not one person in the crowd that didn't enjoy Kilto's set, and opinions that they sound like U2 should not be cast aside, with a similar sound to the Irish superstars.

Kilto Take are one to watch in 2013, as things are likely to take off after the release of their album.

LOOM

LOOM took to the stage for their headline set with the up most confidence in their own ability, launching into a high energy set that included somersaults off the stage, playfighting with the audience, hitting the guitarist with the mic stand and finishing with a swan dive into the drums, ending the set with a bang. This was all supplied by frontman Tarik Badwan who certainly embraces Rock 'n' Roll. 

NME have been giving LOOM a lot of attention in previous weeks, and they certainly deserve it.. generating a wonderfully big, dark sound for a band without a bassist. The Craufurd Arms is likely to be a small stop for the boys on their way to bigger things.
